Cekol Q2 Multi 5 kg gel tile adhesive
Fibrogel tile adhesive from the Cekol brand allows you to glue stoneware, ceramics, terracotta and mosaics to bricks, concrete, aerated concrete, cement plasters, cement-lime plasters and plasterboards.
The tile adhesive is frost-resistant, waterproof and highly flexible. Suitable for outdoor and indoor use. The product is suitable for heated floors.
Thanks to its carefully selected formula, it allows for gluing tiles from the top of the wall. The mortar can also be used for leveling and filling.
Product advantages and features
- The product is a flexible, frost-resistant and waterproof adhesive mortar for indoor and outdoor use.
- It is characterized by increased adhesion.
- Thanks to its carefully selected formula, it is highly resistant to flow, making it possible to glue tiles from the top.
- Universal - for gluing stoneware, ceramics, terracotta and mosaics to brick, concrete, aerated concrete, cement plaster, cement-lime plaster, and plasterboard.
- Fiber-reinforced.
Substrate Preparation
The substrate should be clean, compact, and free of grease. Any remnants of emulsion and oil paints, as well as loose sand grains, should be removed with a spatula or rough brush. Highly absorbent substrates should be primed with a deep-penetrating primer.
Execution
Preparing the Mortar. Prepare the mortar by pouring 1 kg of powder into 0.22-0.24 l of water (4.4-4.8 l of water per 20 kg bag), then mix thoroughly with a low-speed mixer until a uniform consistency is achieved. Wait approximately 3 minutes and mix thoroughly again. Mortar use-by time: approximately 3 hours.
Applying the Adhesive Apply the adhesive to the prepared substrate using a notched trowel. In the case of heated surfaces, turn off the heating before gluing the tiles. The switch-on may take place at least 7 days after the tiles have been laid. When gluing outdoors and in order to improve the adhesion of highly absorbent tiles, stoneware tiles and large-sized tiles, CEKOL Q-2 MULTI should be applied in a continuous layer both on the substrate and on the back of the tiles.
Storage
Store in dry rooms, in original packaging.
