2. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Product introduction ● "Edo Glass" A drip-free soy sauce pourer made using the traditional manufacturing method, with the stopper and body individually rubbed together by craftsmen. A simple and easy-to-use design that we have been creating since our founding. "Edo Glass" is a glass product that is handmade and inherited from the Edo period. The great thing about handmade glass products is that, unlike mass-produced products made by machines, each product is an original, one-of-a-kind item that has a deep flavor and unique design and depth that can only be achieved by handcrafting. In 2002, it was certified as a traditional craft by Tokyo. ●Iwasawa Glass began manufacturing glass in Koto Ward in 1919, temporarily suspended due to a corporate merger during the war, and restarted its business in Sumida Ward in 1951. Under the supervision of two traditional craftsmen from Tokyo, each product is handcrafted one by one in the tradition of Edo glass. When it was first founded, it mainly manufactured lenses (car and motorcycle lights) and soy sauce pourers (screw caps), but now it sells a wide variety of glass products such as tableware, vases, paper weights, and trophies.
