The surface material used in this series is tanned in Japan. We use kip leather for the base material, and combine tannin and chrome tanning to create a firm base with minimal wrinkling. The surface is then glazed and finished with a natural antique look using chemicals made in Italy. This is a beautiful leather item combining a combination of waxed processed nubuck leather on the inside.
