The Fluke TL175E TwistGuard test leads are the world's first to comply with the new standard. Simply twist the probe tip to adjust the length from 4mm to 19mm, depending on the measurement location. Meets the revised IEC 61010-031 international probe safety standard! ● CAT III and IV require a test lead tip with a minimum of 4mm of exposed metal to prevent short circuits (previously 19mm). ● Dual insulation allows for cable wear to be identified with a different color (previously single insulation). ● The TL175E includes a plug. The patented TwistGuard extendable tip shroud reduces tip exposure, meets the most stringent electrical safety standards, and is compatible with most measurements. New WearGuard Lead Wire Wear Indicator: Each test lead is covered with two layers of silicone insulation. If the lead becomes scratched, frayed, or damaged and requires replacement, the contrasting colored inner insulation becomes visible. Double-insulated silicone leads. TL175 test leads are extremely heat-resistant and flexible even at low temperatures. Exposed probe tip lengths: 19 mm to 4 mm. The TL175E includes a detachable 4 mm lantern/tip on the lead/tip.
