1. KEY FEATURES:
- Martin sells another type of genuine orthopedic saddle, but this one is 1mm lower than that (thickness approx. 2.5mm / height approx. 9.5mm at the center, approx. 8mm per string / approx. 9.3mm per 6th string / width approx. 73.7mm) The taller one is almost definitely "too high", but until now,I was selling it based on the idea that "if it's expensive, just cut it down and adjust it" (sorry for being so naive)
- However, we realized how difficult it is for the average person to cut horizontally and accurately to about 1mm, so we prepared a lower type (or rather, this may be said to be the standard height).
- Although it is only 1mm lower, it takes a certain amount of time to shave 1mm even with a special tool (even if you use the right tool), so it takes time to shave more than 1mm without a special tool, but the biggest problem is that it is almost impossible to cut it horizontally accurately.
- Even with this item, if you have a standard to low setting, I think you will need to make some fine adjustments (you still need to cut it down a bit), so if you don't have the special equipment, I don't really recommend the high type unless you have a high string setting.
- In addition, when compared to the saddle used for Old Martin, the width is the same, but the thickness is different.There are other precautions for this product, so please see "See more" below.
