This is a common cable for GROVE. This is a cable with common specifications used to connect GROVE products such as between the GROVE module and Basic Shield (GROVE motherboard). Products are available in lengths of 5cm, 20cm, 30cm, 40cm, and 50cm, so please check when adding to cart. What is GROVE System? This is a product group in which various electronic components are mounted on a board with a uniform external shape and modularized so that they can be used simply by connecting them with specified cables. It is mainly used for learning purposes, and compared to conventional methods that use breadboards, etc., it allows you to easily and quickly derive functionality without having to worry about mounting parts unnecessarily. Although it is similar to microcontroller-centered systems such as Arduino, GROVE is not centered around a specific MCU, but instead consists of modules that individually implement peripheral devices such as sensors, switches, and displays. Therefore, it can be applied to various systems such as Arduino, LPCXpresso, mbed, and small Linux PC. Bridge shields are also available for each system. Each module basically has only one component installed, making it extremely simple. The necessary documentation and sample programs are included or available for download. All the modules need to be connected using a common cable. If you use a dedicated bridge shield for Arduino, etc., you can add peripheral devices according to your purpose by simply combining GROVE series modules and cables without having to create a new assembly yourself. If you use seeedstudio's Arduino compatible product called seeeduino, it will come equipped with a GROVE connector from the beginning, and you can also use Arduino assets such as sample code. seeeduino also has mbed compatibility.
