The NIKKOR Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR offers high magnification from a wide-angle end of 28mm to a telephoto end of 400mm, yet weighs only about 725g. Its compact and lightweight design makes it highly portable, allowing you to easily carry it in a bag or backpack. This makes it ideal for travel destinations or theme parks where you might have a lot of luggage, allowing you to move around easily and quickly take out the lens when a photo opportunity arises. At the wide-angle end (28mm), the maximum magnification is 0.35x and the minimum focusing distance is 0.2m*. You can take impressive table photos with close-ups of sweets and other items, even while sitting in a chair. The minimum focusing distance at the telephoto end is 1.2m. By getting closer to your subject, you can achieve a large background blur. When taking close-up shots with the lens hood attached, please be careful not to let the lens hood touch the subject.
