It utilizes the finest quality leather from calves approximately three months old. This material is difficult to handle even for highly skilled artisans, prone to scratches during the sewing process. This susceptibility to scratches means the leather will develop a unique patina with use. Furthermore, techniques such as pleating and gussets are achievable due to the thorough thinning (the process of making the leather thinner) of the material. Experienced artisans possess the skill to thin leather to half the thickness of newspaper (0.02mm). Finished with a bare finish that does not apply processing to the surface, this product allows you to enjoy the fine grain of calf leather, the texture of the bare finish, and the increasingly smooth, soft feel as it is used.

【Regarding Changes to Embossed Text】 The “HANDMADE IN JAPAN” embossing found on [Morpho] products, the [Cypris Collection], [Cypris], and branded products will be gradually changed to “MADE IN JAPAN.” Please understand that products with both embossed texts may be in stock depending on the production period.
