CleanPool Maxi #72015 sand filtration is a highly effective and environmentally safe way to keep your pool water clean. It's a more cost-effective solution than a traditional filter pump because it uses silica sand instead of a paper filter cartridge to purify the water.
While traditional cartridges need to be replaced every 2 weeks, silica sand lasts 3 years. The sand traps dirt and debris, and the pre-filter tank filters larger items, ensuring clean water all season long.
The pump maintains constant circulation - pool water is pumped into the filtration system and passed through the sand, on which impurities such as leaves, hair, grass, and insects settle, and then, clear, returns to the tank.
