This original necklace depicting a sparrow sitting on a branch is decorated with brown Baltic amber. (cognac) and is made of nickel-free 925 sterling silver.
The sparrow on the necklace has been finished and reproduced to capture the realistic details of this bird. Its back, with a delicate pattern resembling clinging feathers, and openwork wings that reveal part of the amber create a unique design.
The cognac amber adorning the bird's belly is partially exposed and partially visible from beneath the openwork wings. The amber with its visible scales has an individual appearance, making each piece unique and unrepeatable.
The play of light on the amber and its inner scales adds an exceptionally captivating individual character. The sparrow's head is formed with a distinct beak and eye shape. The bird's reproduced legs, with distinct toes gripping the branch, make it appear as if it were actually perched on a branch.
Two amber balls on stems hang from the branch, resembling hanging fruit. The textured surface of the sparrow looks phenomenal thanks to the oxidation. Shades of black and graphite beautifully complement the highly polished white silver on the necklace's surface, creating an effective contrast and a captivating look.
