4. How to calculate the maximum permissible power of the device?
For a 5x2.5 power extension cord: 3 * 20A * 230V = 13800W (rolled extension cord = 1/3 power)
The power of the connected device should not exceed 90% power of the extension cord. Please note that with a long cable, voltage drops occur and the permissible power of the extension cord is lower.
