For which terrarium?
No restrictions. It can be the original Repti-Zoo or Exo Terra or another. It can be just an aquarium with a turtle or an OSB terrarium.
How is the stand mounted like a "vice"?
The MAXI stand is attached to the terrarium using a clamp resembling a vise with a wide jaw span.
1. slightly unscrew the top screw (the one with the so-called butterfly) to loosen the upper jaw
2. Extend the telescope to the height of your terrarium and mount the whole thing on the terrarium.
3. Tighten the screw you previously loosened to secure the grip.
How do you mount it on the foot?
Here it's even simpler. Insert the tripod into the foot from the kit and you're done!
The kit includes one lamp arm, known as the MINI arm (Repti-Zoo LH003).
However, you can purchase a second arm at any time and add it to the kit.
Additionally, the set includes rubber O-rings that will protect the lamp from slipping off, for example, if you accidentally catch your elbow on the lamp shade.
