Morning Glory Clean was born from a conversation about "What do you look for in an overdrive pedal?" based on the Morning Glory, which Julian Lage has for many years. Starting with the question, "Can it be further improved?", it's not just a simple modification, but a complete redesign centered around a parallel clean blend. At first glance, adding a clean signal to a transparent sound might seem pointless. However, the answer lies in the moment this pedal's "magic" is revealed. Increasing the drive adds harmonics and creates natural, soft compression. It has a sparkling quality that blends seamlessly into the mix, while simultaneously smoothing out the low frequencies as if it were the final mix. The parallel clean circuit complements the low-frequency attenuation while maintaining the character of the sound. The distortion section is based on the V1 but with expanded headroom, and it combines a natural tone with the technology developed in the V4.
