Black agrotextile is a strong and durable polypropylene fabric used in agriculture, horticulture, and nurseries for mulching. It effectively eliminates weeds without the need for chemicals. Agrotextile is used in coniferous plant nurseries, in strawberry cultivation, when establishing gardens, covering slopes, under stones, bark, etc.
Garden agrotextile is made of thin polypropylene threads, thanks to which it is permeable to water and minerals and does not rot. Thanks to its properties (high grammage of 100 grams, different material structure), agrotextile is twice as durable as agrotextile.

Agrotextile is chemically neutral to the soil and does not change – unlike organic mulches – the fertilization needs of plants. It does not affect soil pH (there is no need to increase nitrogen fertilizer doses or additional liming).
Due to its design, agrotextile does not significantly inhibit the penetration of fertilizers into the soil (unlike thick layers of bark). Fertilizers spread on the surface of the agrotextile migrate through it after being dissolved in the first raindrops.
