Cat.6A shielded patch cord SFTP/PIMF RJ45-RJ45 1:1 stranded Cu AWG26/7 LSOH jacket 1.0m white
catalog number: 31692
The offered patch cord is a shielded RJ45-RJ45 category 6A Ethernet connector in a 1:1 connection. The cable is made of a 4-pair twisted copper pair 4x2xAWG26/7 in SFTP (Shielded-Foiled Twisted Pair) / PIMF (Paired, Individually Metal Foiled) technology, i.e.
each pair in an individual foil shield and additionally in a mesh shield. The jacket is made of LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen). The molded RJ45 plugs are gold-plated with a thickness of 2μm (on a 4μm nickel backing) and are connected according to the EIA/TIA 568B standard.
The special shape of the molded cover with a small size allows for use in patch panels with high port density.
The cable complies with the ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288 and TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standards, meets the category 6A standard (class EA - 500MHz band) and is dedicated to 10/100/1000/10000Mbps networks, i.e. it guarantees operation in Fast Ethernet networks.
(100Mb/s), Gigabit Ethernet (1000Mb/s) and 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10000Mb/s).
Note! The patch cord offered is double-shielded and contains eight wires made of a copper conductor (AWG26 stranded wire, i.e., 0.50mm). Patch cords shielded with a single common F/UTP foil shield are also available on the market, and are also called shielded, but compared to PIMF technology (individual shielding of each pair and an additional overall shield), they have significantly poorer transmission parameters and do not guarantee operation in 10Gigabit networks.
We guarantee the compliance of our patchcords with the parameters presented in the description.

Ethernet cables come in two types: straight-through cables (1:1 Patch Cables) or crossover cables (Crossover Cables). A 1:1 straight-through cable is the basic connection used in computer networks. It's used to connect computers and other network devices (switches, hubs, routers, network printers, etc.) to Ethernet computer networks. Crossover cables are used less frequently and are primarily used for direct connections between two computers equipped with network cards, bypassing a router and switch. You can find them by entering 'crossover adapter' in the items we sell.
