Behringer SPICE – Analog semi-modular polyrhythmic synthesizer with 2 oscillators, 4 sub-oscillators, a multimode filter, and a 4-step sequencer.
Behringer SPICE is a unique polyrhythmic synthesizer that is capable of creating incredibly complex and intricate sequences that will delight any audience. At the heart of the SPICE are two VCOs, each of which is capable of shaping square and sawtooth waves.
There are also two subharmonic oscillators and a mixer section that includes level controls for the main VCO and two subharmonic oscillators. Layering each of these oscillators creates an incredibly pleasing, deep, quasi-polyphonic sound.
SPICE also features a 24 dB ladder filter, VCA, and VCF envelope sections for additional sound shaping.
SPICE is equipped with two 4-step sequencers, each clocked by four polyrhythm generators. All sequencers are synchronized by a global tempo control, which can be set manually or via an external clock. Now you can focus solely on creating amazing sounds!
Although SPICE does not require a single cable to be connected to the patch sockets to operate, its semi-modular architecture allows you to easily create complex configurations by connecting to other synthesizers and Eurorack modules.
