Trion's new album, "Terra Tiempo," marks the return of the Dutch prog-rock trio after a 13-year hiatus. Musically, Terra Tiempo continues Trion's style—layered guitar and keyboard arrangements with clear '70s rock influences. The band skillfully balances nostalgia with a modern approach to composition, avoiding repetitiveness. The foundation of their sound is dense Mellotron, Hammond organ, and synthesizers, which build a symphonic momentum. These intertwine with Eddie Mulder's precise electric and acoustic guitar lines, reminiscent of the best traditions of Camel.
