At low RPMs, power is not transmitted to the rear tire. Once the RPMs have increased to a certain level and the practical driving speed is reached, the rotation is transmitted, allowing the scooter to start moving. The lightweight reinforced clutch kit is a racing part that allows for sharp starts by shifting the clutch engagement timing to a higher RPM range (2-stroke engines produce more power at higher RPMs) through the use of lighter clutch shoes and reinforced clutch springs. It is also effective when low-speed torque has decreased due to muffler replacement or other modifications.
