Vita Natur uses specially ordered 150-twist yarn instead of commercially available 250-twist yarn, resulting in a fabric with firmness and luster. While machine-stitched (reversible) processing is available, Vita Natur believes that handmade processing is best suited to expressing our commitment to looms, threads, and finishing processes. While mass production overseas primarily utilizes high-speed looms, in Tango, we still use shuttle looms manufactured in the 1960s and rapier looms produced in the 1990s, which we maintain daily. Both looms produce soft, plump neckties by slowly weaving fine threads at low speeds.
