Precise filtration and water softening
The filtration system step by step purifies the water from visible mechanical impurities and dissolved, harmful substances.
The first cartridge K3 acts as a pre-filter, retaining particles down to 5 microns.
The second cartridge KH/K4 is responsible for water softening, effectively preventing scale build-up, e.g. in a kettle.
The third cartridge K7 performs final purification, filtering particles down to 0.8 microns (i.e. 125 times thinner than a human hair). The carbon block with AQUALEN ion-exchange fiber captures and removes heavy metals and other harmful contaminants commonly found in tap water.
Easy installation of the AQUAPHOR Crystal filter
The AQUAPHOR Crystal filter is exceptionally easy to install, as the kit includes all the necessary components for proper connection. Typically, it is necessary to drill a 12 mm hole in the countertop or sink, but alternatively, you can replace your existing kitchen tap with a three-way tap that serves three circuits: hot, cold, and filtered water.
The water connection is made using a tee with a valve, which is mounted on the cold water supply line to the tap.
The entire installation process should take no more than an hour. After turning on and rinsing the device, you can immediately enjoy clean, tasty and fresh water.
