Nikko Seiki is a specialized manufacturer of pendulum and mechanical metronomes. All metronomes are made in Japan at the Tochigi factory. Since its founding, the company has been producing all mechanical parts and assembling the metronomes in its own domestic factory.
The popular model, the Wooden Mini, has been renewed.
The tempo range has been improved to "60–240 beats per minute": a mechanical metronome operating at 240 bpm is the first in the world (according to our research). This allows for faster tempo practice and accommodates the increasingly diverse music styles with a wider tempo range.
The interval between the scale marks has been widened, making it easier to visually match the tempo, in addition to the tactile click feeling when moving the pendulum along the groove.
By placing the most frequently used tempo 60 at the top of the scale, it becomes easier to set to tempo 60, improving operability.
It now comes with a soft case, which was a highly requested feature, making it more portable than ever.
