The "Kenko Night Focus" is a focusing tool designed to reduce the difficulty of starry sky photography.

This product, which has a circular filter shape, forms a special pattern on the glass surface to produce three light streaks from bright stars that act as point light sources.

By adjusting the camera focus so that these three light streaks cross, you can precisely focus on the star.

While the famous "Vernier Mask" is used as a focusing aid for astronomy, it is originally designed for telescopes and is not ideal for photography.

The "Kenko Night Focus" is designed considering focal lengths (24–70mm) and F-values (2.8–4) commonly used in starry sky photography. Additionally, it has higher light transmittance compared to the Vernier Mask, offering better visibility and a more effective shooting aid.

The "Night Focus Square Conversion Frame Set" includes the Night Focus and a conversion frame that allows round-frame filters to be mounted in a square filter holder.

Many starry sky photos use square filters, and this set allows you to focus with Night Focus even when using a square filter holder. It is compatible with filter holders that accommodate 100mm wide, 2mm thick filters.
