This model recreates EF64-0 type locomotive No. 37, which was transferred to the Nagaoka Rail Yard and used to pull sleeper express trains such as the Akebono. It is also possible to recreate the appearance of Unit 37 around 2009, when it was transferred to the Nagaoka Rail Yard and played an active role in pulling the Akebono train.
