Installation must be carried out only by qualified professionals. Additionally, mounting and installation aids including posts, flange screws, hooks, and concrete are required for gabion installation but are not included in the delivery. At minimum, the following competencies are required for gabion construction: safe handling of tools, machinery, ladders, and scaffolding; knowledge of occupational and operational safety, as well as implementation of precautionary measures against accidents and hazards; experience in transporting and handling heavy, bulky structural components; familiarity with local building regulations.
