The wicks are made of natural cotton fiber. They have a constant burning property. These wicks are designed for kerosene and olive lamps, torches, and candles. Designed to self-retract when burned. When used with the appropriate oil or wax, the wick burns slowly and evenly. It does not smoke. It soaks easily. The rules for using a wick in a handmade candle: soak it in wax to harden it and maintain its stability in the wax-filled container. Then, if the wick is long, cut it into smaller pieces. Place a wax strip on each wick piece to help the candle burn through to the end. Place the wick and wax strip in the container and pour wax over it. Our store offers two types of wicks in various sizes: flat and round. Flat wicks are 2mm thick. Wicks are available in the following sizes: flat (width): 7mm, 12mm, 16mm, and 22mm.
