The Sport Pro variator is a highly anticipated Stage6 product. The Stage6 Sport Pro variator can be adjusted and optimized for any configuration, including 50-70cc cylinders and Sport/Racing exhausts. Properly selected rollers and springs will maximize the potential of this product. The rollers and spring included in the kit are optimally configured for 50cc cylinders when paired with the Stage6 Pro Replica exhaust. The rear section of the variator, along with the roller tracks, are hard-coated. However, a hardened coating on the surface mating with the drive belt has been deliberately omitted. While this reduces the surface's durability, the increased friction allows for significantly better performance and minimizes belt slippage. Thanks to the special surface on the Stage6 Sport Pro variator, there's no risk of the coating peeling and becoming damaged, as is the case with hard-chrome variators, which in turn leads to accelerated wear or belt breakage. The variator is supplied with: a variator bushing, washers, a set of 16x13 rollers weighing 10.00 grams, and a Stage6 Medium compression spring. Note: The variator adjustment applies to all Peugeot upright engines. For Peugeot horizontal engines, the rollers and compression spring must be selected during adjustment.
