These chainrings are CNC machined from a single block of aluminum 7075-T6 and then anodized. With a material thickness of 4mm, they provide extremely high rigidity. To eliminate the need for a chain guide, these chainrings are manufactured with alternating thick and thin teeth (Narrow-Wide), similar to SRAM's X-Sync system. Often, when combined with a SRAM Type 2/3 or Shimano Shadow+ derailleur, a chain guide is not required. However, only the 30T chainring has a slight offset in the chainline relative to the frame by design and is used for mounting with chainring bolts.
