The top of the device features a palm rest made of low-rebound material that can accommodate the entire hand, from the wrist to the palm, reducing strain on the wrists during long hours of PC work. The trackball's movement is detected by a high-performance, gaming-grade optical sensor. By thoroughly analyzing the optimal trackball color and coating thickness for optical sensors, and completely redesigning the trackball from the ground up, we have achieved ultimate pointer tracking performance. By using large 2.5mm diameter artificial ruby support balls, and selecting only those with smooth surfaces to ensure the highest quality, the feel of controlling the ball has been dramatically improved. In addition, because the support balls are larger, they are less likely to become clogged with dirt such as fingerprints, reducing the frequency of maintenance.
