Important: A filled gabion is extremely heavy; tipping over poses serious hazards and risk of severe injury. Installation must be carried out only by qualified professionals. Additionally, installation aids such as posts, flange brackets, hooks, and concrete required for gabion assembly are not included in the delivery.
The following minimum competencies are required for gabion construction: safe handling of tools and machinery, ladders and scaffolding; knowledge of occupational and operational safety, including preventive measures against accidents and hazards; experience transporting and handling heavy, bulky components; familiarity with local building regulations.
