Run Silent, Run Deep [DVD REGION:1 USA] Dolby, Widescreen USA Import

When command of an American sub is placed in the hands of a dictatorial officer (Clark Gable) who lost his prior ship in battle with the Japanese, the crew is suspicious and resentful, the passed-over executive officer (Burt Lancaster) most of all. Robert Wise's subsea WWII saga co-stars Jack Warden, Brad Dexter, and (in his film debut) Don Rickles. 93 min. Widescreen (Enhanced); Soundtrack: English; Subtitles: English; theatrical trailer.
