STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONSThe surface intended for painting should be cleaned, sanded, and if necessary, remove any old paint residue or corrosion. The substrate must be thoroughly cleaned and degreased. Cracks, scratches, and unevenness should be filled with putty, then the repaired surface should be smoothed with 400-grit sandpaper dry.. Please remember to protect adjacent elements, preferably using masking tape and paint protection film.. Next, apply several thin layers of primer. It is recommended to wait a few minutes between applying subsequent layers of paint. The area painted with primer should be left to dry. ( until approx. 2 hours at 20 degrees Celsius). Next, smooth with 800-grit sandpaper, this time wet. The repaired element should be cleaned and degreased again.. Next, apply a few thin layers of base coat(car paint), until the color most closely resembling the original paint layer is obtained. Please remember to leave a few minutes between applying subsequent layers. It is recommended to use the shading technique to minimize the effect of blending the old paint with the new. After approximately 30 minutes from applying the last layer of base coat, please apply several layers of clear coat to the repaired area.. At the very end, we can remove the masking elements.
