The culture of wood nurtured by Japan's climate and environment, especially the paulownia wood which has been closely intertwined with our lives, has been a part of our long and deep relationship with the Japanese people. Together, we have built history, giving rise to various cultural elements. Paulownia wood, a material that seems to express the unique sensibilities of Japan, is well-suited to our country's hot and humid climate, and has always coexisted closely with us. Since ancient times, it has played a role not only as a practical storage container that maintains a constant humidity level, but also as a craft item with aesthetic appeal. Here in Fuchu City, Hiroshima Prefecture, which has long produced abundant high-quality paulownia wood, our company has been involved with wood for 400 years, upholding a 150-year tradition of paulownia box manufacturing, pursuing the elegant beauty and practicality of paulownia wood.
