【Completely Waterproof & Easy to Clean】The kitchen is a battleground against water and oil. This digital cooking thermometer has a high waterproof rating of IPX7 and is designed to be completely washable for hygienic use. Even if it gets spilled with liquid while cooking or gets greasy after frying, you can quickly rinse it under running water to keep it clean at all times. It's designed to last a long time, so you can use it with peace of mind not only in BBQs and outdoor settings, but also in kitchens where moisture often causes malfunctions.
[Ultra-fast response & wide temperature range] From oil temperature during preheating to the perfect doneness of a steak, this instant-read digital thermometer offers a fast response time of 2-4 seconds, eliminating the stress of waiting during cooking and ensuring you never miss the perfect moment. With an overwhelmingly wide measurement range of -50℃ to 300℃, it instantly captures the optimal temperature in any situation, from low-temperature cooking to high-temperature tempura oil, and even candy making and caramel crafting.
[Complete Control by Core Temperature] High accuracy of ±1°C in the commonly used temperature range of 0°C to 100°C. Because it is a core temperature thermometer/contact thermometer that directly measures the inside by inserting the probe into the food, it is more accurate than non-contact thermometers. It determines whether the center of meat dishes is cooked through, preventing undercooking such as "cooked on the outside but raw in the middle" and food poisoning. It is invaluable for low-temperature cooking where temperature control is crucial, as well as for tempura, yakiniku, hamburgers, improving the flavor of tea and coffee brewing, and achieving the perfect rare roast beef.
[Instantly check in the dark] Backlight & Hold function: Even in dimly lit places such as inside a smoker to make smoked chicken, at a BBQ venue, or in front of an oven, simply press the backlight button on the digital cooking thermometer and the LCD will light up for about 15 seconds. When the display is difficult to see due to smoke, steam, or water droplets, you can use the HOLD button to fix the value, remove your hand from the dangerous heat source, and carefully check the temperature in a safe place.
[Convenient for carrying and storage] Dedicated protective cap, clip, and hanging hole: Comes with a dedicated cap to protect the pointed tip of the probe. The cap has a clip, making it convenient to carry by clipping it to an apron pocket or bag. The hanging hole on the main body allows you to hang it on a kitchen hook for storage.
【Safety Design】14.5cm Long Probe & Food-Grade 304 Stainless Steel: The 14.5cm long probe allows you to keep your hands far away from heat sources, even when cooking in hot pizza ovens, grilling meat, or when there is a risk of oil splattering. This reduces the risk of burns. The probe material is 304 stainless steel, which complies with food hygiene laws, so it is safe to use even when in direct contact with food.
[Prevents accidental power-off] Auto power-off function: No worries if you forget to turn it off while using it. This cooking thermometer automatically turns off after 10 minutes of inactivity. This prevents wasting batteries and the tragedy of finding the battery dead when you try to use it again.
[Easy Operation] This kitchen thermometer features simple button operation and comes with two LR44 button batteries and easy-to-understand Japanese instructions, so you can use it right away. The included batteries last for approximately 9 months (when used 10 times a day), so you don't need to replace them frequently. When it is time to replace them, you can rest assured that they are a common type that can be easily purchased at convenience stores and other nearby shops. The temperature unit can be switched between °C (Celsius) and °F (Fahrenheit), making it convenient for foreigners as well.
[Versatile Application] From baking sweets and bread to preparing infant formula. From determining the perfect baking temperature for cheesecakes, to the ideal temperature for bread dough fermentation (30-40°C), to controlling the temperature for making amazake and fermented bean paste, to tempering chocolate, and even finding the perfect temperature for brewing coffee or tea, or cooling baby formula to body temperature—a single digital cooking thermometer dramatically expands the range of recipes you can make.
【Thoughtful Design】Screw-lock battery structure for both waterproofing and safety. The battery cover is securely fastened with screws. This is not just a design feature, but a safety design to ensure a tight seal with the waterproof gasket and to prevent accidents where the battery cover deforms and comes off due to heat during high-temperature cooking. It achieves high waterproofing and durability even in harsh environments such as next to a BBQ grill or frying pan.
