Product Introduction
This model is a plastic model assembly kit based on Platz's 1/72 Japan Air Self-Defense Force F-15J Eagle, which has already garnered high praise from aircraft model enthusiasts. It reproduces the commemorative painted aircraft of the Flight Development and Test Wing that appeared at the Gifu Air Base Air Show in October 2025.
The special markings applied to the F-15J of the Flight Development and Test Wing that appeared at the Gifu Air Base Air Show on October 12th are reproduced with a large decal sheet.
The kit reproduces the markings on the aircraft's dorsal surface and vertical stabilizer, combining the number 70 and the unit mark, designed to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Flight Development and Test Wing, which was established in 1955, in 2025.
Furthermore, the markings of silhouettes of previous operational aircraft painted on the fuel tanks are also reproduced with large decals.
The decals are made by Cartograf, an Italian company renowned for its high quality.
