It has properties that positively affect psychological functions by providing the body with adequate amounts of pyridoxine. In addition, it supports the optimal production of red blood cells and helps maintain the proper metabolism of homocysteine[1]. Pyridoxine, on the other hand, is a precursor of vitamin B6, which must first undergo a series of reactions in the liver and intestines to the phosphorylated form (P-5-P)[2].
