The definitive version of Xenoblade Chronicles is revived on Nintendo Switch.
Xenoblade, the RPG that blends science fiction and fantasy, originally released on the Wii in 2010, is vividly revived on the Nintendo Switch. The original story, gameplay volume, field exploration, battle system, and replayability remain the same, but the graphics have been upgraded to HD, some soundtracks have been re-recorded, and additional story content has been added. Furthermore, the UI has been completely redesigned, making it even easier to play.
A story of revenge and creation, set amidst the corpses of two gods, featuring a kind-hearted boy. The Bionis, the god of humans, and the Mechonis, the god of machines, fell into a deep sleep after a long battle, stabbing each other to death. In a world where the decaying bodies of these two gods serve as the stage, the protagonist Shulk's hometown is attacked by mysterious life forms called Mechon, and his childhood friend is killed. To avenge his friend, he takes up the divine sword Monado and embarks on an epic adventure in a world where humanity and machines are in conflict.
The additional story "Xenoblade Chronicles: Future Connected" is included in this game. It depicts the world after the completion of the main story, focusing on the protagonist Shulk and Melia, a member of the High Entia tribe who also appears in the main story. *You can play it immediately after purchase even if you haven't completed the main story.
