The cause of humanity's extinction is the "unobservable regions"—"Singularities"—that suddenly appeared at various points in history.

Fujimaru Ritsuka, the only remaining Master at Chaldea, along with the Demi-Servant Mash Kyrielight, has been carrying out the forbidden ritual of intervening in these Singularities to unravel or destroy them—the "Grand Order."

This time, the seventh Singularity has been newly discovered—ancient Mesopotamia in 2655 BC.

Having completed their search for the herb of immortality, the land of Uruk, once ruled and flourished under the "Heavenly Wedge, Wise King Gilgamesh," was on the brink of destruction, ravaged by three goddesses and countless monstrous beasts. Then, Fujimaru and Mash, having traveled to the past through "Rayshift," arrive in Uruk and encounter the fortress city of the Absolute Demonic Front, holding back the onslaught of monstrous beasts, and the people desperately trying to survive despite the threat. Gods and monstrous beasts attack. And humanity resists them.

This is a fateful era where humans and gods part ways. The final battle begins for the two who have raced through six quests (Orders)—Fujimaru and Mash.
