The inner lining is made of acrylic boa. It is stamped U.S.N. on the front and SS 486 16 on the back. There are ventilation holes on the sides. The inside of the cuffs are knitted to prevent wind from entering. There is a drawcord inside the hem. The right chest features a patch of the US Navy submarine "USS POMODON SS-486." This is a replica of the deck jacket issued to U.S. Navy officers and soldiers from World War II through the Korean War. Designed for work in harsh environments, including sea spray, strong winds, and rain, this jacket offers excellent functionality, including cold protection, wind protection, waterproofing, and heat retention. The shell is made of cotton grosgrain, commonly known as "Jungle Cloth," just like the original. The lining is made of comfortable, warm acrylic boa.
