Kanto Bus, headquartered in Nakano Ward, Tokyo, operates a route network in the western part of Tokyo's 23 wards and eastern Tama, including the Chuo Line, Seibu Line, and Keio Line. The "Tate Bus System" connects stations north and south from the Tama area and Saitama, bypassing central Shinjuku and Ikebukuro, saving travel time. Bus C2126 was introduced in 2006 and will celebrate its 18th year in 2024, but will be retired after August of this year.
