Weldas STEERSOtuff Premium High-Heat Welding Gloves are lined with wool and COMFOflex for added insulation. These one-finger mittens are made from Grade A side-split cowhide leather, providing superior protection against high heat, flames, and welding spatter. Color: Coffee Brown. Available Sizes: Part Number 10-2900XL-MIT = Extra Large (see size chart above, 9 1/2). Durable Grade A side-split cowhide leather maintains excellent heat, flame, and spatter resistance, while maintaining flexibility, comfort, and durability. COMFOflex and wool lining provide additional insulation while maintaining excellent moisture absorption. Straight-thumb design for improved ergonomics when handling tubular handles such as MIG guns, TIG guns, stick electrode holders, and flame-cutting torches. The thumb strap crotch is reinforced with a strap for durability and seam protection. Durable leather cuffs and a flame-retardant cotton lining enhance comfort, protection, and safety. Seams are leather-trimmed and sewn with DuPont KEVLAR Tex 70 and Tex 90 thread (which has twice the tensile strength and the same heat resistance as traditional polyester/nylon), improving seam strength and durability and minimizing seam seizure.
