The Code Chaos 22 offers powerful advancements in every aspect. While retaining the disruptive concept of the original Code Chaos, this fully redesigned shoe offers significant improvements in comfort and swing stability. The TWISTGRIP outsole, which boasted exceptional grip for a spikeless outsole since the original model, has been significantly improved, offering 38% more grip than the previous model. The upper features a new warp knit material. While retaining the inherent benefits of knit materials, such as soft, hugging the foot for superior comfort, the special knit structure reduces stretch compared to conventional knit materials, significantly improving swing stability. Furthermore, the two-layer construction, with a polyurethane film covering the surface, further reduces stretch while providing excellent waterproofing. The full-length BOOST has been improved with a more three-dimensional shape, providing softer cushioning in areas where cushioning is needed, and greater stability in areas where moderate firmness and rebound are required, such as during swings. To further maximize the performance of the new BOOST design, eight additional control wraps covering both sides of the outsole and midsole have been added. These control wraps prevent BOOST from collapsing in the wrong places while supporting lateral movement.
