Kinetic Sand 1/48 Mirage III E/O/RD/EE/EA Plastic Model

In the late 1950s, Dassault developed the Mirage III, a new generation delta-wing fighter with a Mach 2 speed, in response to the French Air Force's requirements. The first mass-produced model, the Mirage IIIC, began operational deployment in 1961, with 95 delivered to the Air Force. This was followed by the Mirage IIIE, a full-scale fighter-bomber. The first mass-produced Mirage IIIE made its maiden flight in January 1964. Over the next nine years, 292 aircraft were produced, 183 of which were deployed to the Air Force and exported to countries around the world. The IIIR was a tactical reconnaissance version based on the IIIE, and the IIIRD was an all-weather version equipped with a Doppler navigation radar. Australia and Switzerland also license-produced the Mirage IIIO and IIIS, based on the IIIE. While the aircraft has since been retired by many countries, it remains in service in Argentina (IIIEA) and Pakistan (IIIEP). This convertible kit is based on the Mirage IIIE and can be used to build the O/R/RD/EE/EA versions. It includes a wide variety of accessories, including missiles, bombs, and drop tanks.
