These forged pegs are made by heating round steel bar material to approximately 1100°C and then crushing the cross section into an oval shape in one go with a powerful force of approximately one ton. By applying powerful pressure to the heated steel, we are able to create pegs with exceptional strength. While regular round steel pegs tend to spin around in the ground and are difficult to use, oval pegs penetrate easily into hard ground mixed with gravel and stones, and stay firmly in place without spinning around. The material is also designed to be thicker in the direction of the rope's pull, ensuring excellent durability. We've taken great care to trim the areas where the rope comes into contact with the bar to prevent burrs from cutting the rope. We've heard feedback that pegs are difficult to spot when placed on grass or gravel, so we've added a color to them. They're finished with a yellow powder coating and cathodic electroplating for excellent rust prevention. At 280mm in length, they're easy to use in any situation.
