Showa Gamera Series DVD-BOX

Introduction

To celebrate the 55th anniversary of Gamera's birth ("Gamera the Giant Monster" [released November 27, 1965]), all eight films in the series have finally been released as a DVD box set, at the special price of ¥12,000 (just ¥1,500 per disc)!!

●G Project Launches! Starting on the 55th anniversary on November 27th, various projects will begin, including screenings of the "Heisei Gamera" series, which also marks the 25th anniversary of the release of "Gamera: Guardian of the Universe," as well as merchandise and game collaborations! The special effects masterpiece "The Great Yokai War" is scheduled for release in 2021. A long-term cross-series development leading up to "Guardians"!

●Following the smash hit "Shin Godzilla," which grossed over ¥8.25 billion, "Shin Ultraman" (director: Shinji Higuchi, planned and written by Hideaki Anno) will be released in 2021. With "Giant Monsters: The End" (a large-scale joint project between Shochiku and Toei) and "Nezura 1964" scheduled for release between the end of the year and 2021, special effects films are sure to attract a lot of attention!
