[Story] Season 9 kicks off one week after the battle that finally defeated the Reverse-Flash. Reunited, Barry Allen and Iris West-Allen are enjoying a closer relationship than ever. Until then, a group of villains led by a powerful new enemy attacks Central City. The Flash and Team Flash's Caitlin Snow, metahuman ally Cecil Horton, light-wielding Allegra Garcia, brilliant engineer and nerd Chester P. Runk, and reformed former thief and cryogenic weapon wielder Mark Blaine once again face an uphill battle. But with each villain defeated, another deadly foe emerges, threatening Barry's hero legacy. And so, Barry and Team Flash must push their limits in a final showdown to save Central City.
