■Pre-amplifier Circuit Using an Op-Amp Uses the Texas Instruments NE5532 audio-grade op-amp (DIP socket type). Sound quality is adjusted before the power amplifier IC, allowing advanced users to customize their sound by replacing the op-amp!

■FX-AUDIO's First Mid-Range Tone Control Circuit This mid-range amplifier features a highly requested tone control circuit (negative feedback), achieving both convenience and sound quality. As with the pre-amplifier, the Texas Instruments NE5532 audio-grade op-amp (DIP socket type) is used, allowing you to adjust the sound quality of this circuit by replacing the op-amp.

■ Active Filter in the Op-Amp IC Power Supply An active filter is configured in the power supply circuit to the op-amp, providing a clean power supply for improved sound quality.

■ Efficient Bulk Capacitor Placement for High Sound Quality A high-capacity 8100μF W Series smoothing capacitor from Nippon Chemi-Con is used for the power supply. Combined with a 330μF ELNA RE3 (85°C) located immediately adjacent to the TDA7498 digital amplifier IC, this delivers a smooth, expansive sound quality that doesn't lose volume, even at high volumes.

■ Carefully Selected Components ELNA audio-grade 85°C capacitors are used for the input coupling capacitors to the pre-stage op-amp, and TDK EPCOS film capacitors are used for the digital amplifier IC input coupling capacitors. On the output side, TDK power inductors, a standard in digital amplifiers, are used for the inductors, while the output filter uses renowned TDK EPCOS film capacitors, including the Arcotronics/AV R82 63V/0.22μF (Made in Italy) metallized film capacitor. From input to output, we've employed components renowned for their sound quality and stability, resulting in uncompromising sound.

■Aluminum alloy body The hairline-finished body and machined front panel create a luxurious, solid presence.
