This game features Sakuya's unique ability to "control time" and her exhilarating knife action weapon. It also incorporates the "Graze" system unique to the "Touhou Project" into the action game, allowing players to recover HP and MP by getting as close as possible to enemies, making for a fun, strategic battle experience. The bosses standing before Sakuya are popular characters from the Touhou Project, including protagonists Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame, as well as Remilia Scarlet, the vampire master of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, and her sister Flandre Scarlet.
