《Seasoning (Breaking in before use) Instructions》
1. Wash with dishwashing detergent and wipe dry thoroughly.
2. Place on the stove and heat thoroughly over medium heat or lower until white smoke appears. *This will be cooking empty and will become very hot, so do not leave it unattended and take great care not to get burned.
*If you are using a gas stove with an Si sensor, the flame may become smaller or go out during cooking. We recommend using a portable stove.
*Even if you are not sure whether white smoke appears, continue to cook for about 5 minutes.
3. Turn off the heat and let it cool slightly. While the skillet is still warm, coat the entire surface with olive oil or other vegetable oil.
*This skillet will be hot, so take great care not to get burned.
*This material is suitable for use on induction cooktops, but it cannot be seasoned on an induction cooktop. Seasoning should be done on a gas or portable stove.
Caution: The pot will be very hot during cooking and immediately after cooking. To avoid burns, be sure to use thick cooking mitts.
This product can be used over an open flame such as an oven, gas stove, or induction cooktop.
Do not use in a microwave. After use, promptly wash off any dirt and wipe off any moisture. Lightly heat the plate to dry, then apply a thin layer of cooking oil and store in a dry place away from moisture.
Do not soak or put in a dishwasher.
