This model recreates the exterior of the train, which underwent a general inspection after 2022 and has now had the JRF mark removed. The dark gray skirt, bogies, and underfloor equipment, which are different from when it was first introduced, are also recreated.
The imposing two-car structure inherited from the EH500 is replicated, along with the mechanical rooftop equipment unique to AC electric locomotives. The bulging LCX antennas on the sides of both cars and the electrostatic antenna similar to that of the Shinkansen mounted on the roof of the driver's cab are also recreated.
The red car body is beautifully recreated with a silver paint scheme that conveys a sense of speed reminiscent of the Shinkansen, and a white line that evokes the image of connecting Honshu and Hokkaido.
Handrails, release lever, signal flares, electrostatic antenna, train radio antenna, and whistle cover are included.
A flywheel-mounted power unit ensures stable driving.
Headlights illuminate (using warm white LEDs).
Selectable license plates: "5, 8, 14, 19."
The manufacturer's nameplate reads "Toshiba."

The EH800, an AC electric locomotive primarily used in the Seikan Tunnel, is reproduced in its current specifications, including the removal of the JRF marking.
The exterior is reproduced with the JRF marking removed after undergoing a general inspection after 2022 (Reiwa 4). The skirt, bogies, and underfloor equipment are now a dark gray color, different from when they were first released.
The imposing two-car structure inherited from the EH500 is combined with the mechanical roof-mounted equipment unique to AC electric locomotives. The bulging LCX antennas installed on the sides of both cars and the electrostatic antenna installed on the roof of the driver's cab, similar to that of the Shinkansen, are reproduced.
