By splitting the amplifier signal into high and low frequencies and switching the outputs, you could achieve dreamy effects like the Uni-Vibe.

The toggle switch in the up position gives you a great sounding amp tremolo (a tremolo that increases or decreases the signal), while the toggle switch in the down position gives you a harmonic tremolo effect.
